How to Prepare for Your Visit

A few quick steps helps us work safely, finish faster, and avoid delays. If anything on this page isn’t possible, just let us know — we’ll work around it.

Before a Boiler Installation

  • Clear access to the boiler location and along the route from the front door.
  • Parking info: let us know restrictions, permits, or the best place to park.
  • Pets secured and children kept away from the work area.
  • Gas + water available and meter accessible.
  • Boiler area cleared (cupboards emptied if the boiler is in a unit).
  • Wi‑Fi available if your boiler/app requires commissioning online.

Before a Boiler Service / CP12

  • Boiler accessible with the case and flue route visible where possible.
  • Controls accessible (thermostat / programmer).
  • Radiator access if we need to check system performance.
  • Tell us about issues: pressure drops, noise, no hot water, leaks, etc.
  • Engineer will call before arrival (times can vary slightly due to traffic or earlier jobs).

On the Day

  • We’ll confirm arrival by phone. AM / PM slots are estimates — we’ll do our absolute best.
  • Please keep the work area safe and clear while the engineer is on site.
  • If we spot anything unusual (flue route, supply issues, upgrades needed), we’ll explain it before proceeding.

Need to change something?

  • If your date no longer works, message us as soon as possible.
  • Service, CP12, and repair visits are priced in full rather than split payments.
  • For installs: deposit is refundable if the property is unsuitable after photo review.

Safety note: if asbestos is suspected, we cannot proceed until it’s confirmed safe by a qualified professional.
